So finally we are after première. Right now I’m analysing some statistics from launch. During last weekend our page was requested 2746 times, mostly from Poland. Interesting, that most of them use firefox browser. Does it mean, that end of IE is near?

As it is still not sure, we are working on better compatibility with IE, cause we found some issues while working in this terrible browser.

Drobee works on mobile phones

Did you know that you can see all your items on your mobile phone? It is very simple to do. If you have modern phone, application naturally will be working in it, but if you have some older mobile (i.e. Nokia6300, just like me )you will be given fast access to see your whole item list. To do that faster, after first logon on mobile, you could generate private fast access URL, so as you won’t have to login again. Quite comfy, isn’t it?

New version is being intensively tested! We hope to eliminate as many bugs as we can to provide you rock stable version

Here is the receipt for bug elimination:

1 tester (with lots of passion and imagination)
bug tracker (we use Mantis)
1 programmer (with lots of patience and IDKFA / IDDQD modes enabled )
some torture tools (in case tester or programmer gets demotivated)

Just put all needed things together, blend sometimes using torture tools and wait till all will be buzzesome!

Preparing for new version

Works on new version of Drobee application and portal are getting close to end. Meanwhile, before official première, you can take a short look on some screen-shoots. We hope you will love it!

Spring in Poland didn’t spoil us so far, so we are working on developing Drobee. And what we are planning to give you soon? First of all, all users of mobiles phones with color display will be able to look what they have in their Drobee after one click into shortcut, opening proper webpage, dedicated for them. We think that it would be pretty much useful especially during shopping.

Another add-on will allow you to describe items and contractors better and search them fast. It’s only a prelude to what we are planning later… But about this I’ll write soon.

We’re starting a new cycle, that will be presenting samples of use of our application and possible ways of future development. I encourage you to read and discuss!

Part 1: Fitter

Let’s say that I’m working on my own and repairing fridges, washing-machines, dish washers and so on. I always have my cell phone with me. This is crucial because when somebody call I have to be ready to work. Usually after a call I’m going to consumer house, where I look what bad had happened with his stuff. I always have some parts in bag of my car and even more of the in my workshop, but what kind of parts? Often I simply don’t remember. Drobee solves this problem for me! When I need something, a simply login into application on my phone or netbook and check if I have what I need. It’s really time saving for me. The only thing that I have to remember is to enter all what I buy and use into my Drobee. A function that I miss is quick access to history of buys. When I need something that I got out off, It would be nice to know, where did I buy it last time and what was the price. That would be very helpful. I hope that authors will add this function soon.

We are proud to inform you, that currently we are working on actualization of our service. Some problems might occur during this process, so please be patient.

List of changes:

slightly modified GUI- now after our UX research work interface is even more friendly and usable,
contractors support- all store documents can now have related contractors,
time filters- if you want, you can see history of your work only from declared period of time, for example last week or this month.

We hope, that you will like our changes and application. Have a nice use!
